For guests who enjoy adventure and hiking, every house is also equipped with essential safety items—including flares, flashlights, whistles, and a radio transmitter that communicates directly with the village in case mobile signal is unavailable. A dedicated safety leaflet inside your home provides full guidance on how and when to use each item.
We kindly urge all visitors to exercise extreme caution around the waterfall and river areas. Water levels can rise suddenly and currents may become strong and unpredictable, creating potentially dangerous conditions. Additionally, weather in the mountains can change rapidly. In cases of severe weather deterioration, guests are advised to remain inside their houses for their own safety.
Leontio River Retreat is surrounded by beautiful wildlife, wild boars, foxes, birds—and occasionally small forest animals. To keep both guests and wildlife safe, please ensure that all doors remain closed at all times, as animals can be curious and may attempt to enter if given the opportunity. For your safety, and to help protect the local ecosystem, do not feed or approach any wild animals. We appreciate your care in keeping nature wild and your stay comfortable.
